Certification

Not with all purchases of gemstones you can assume that the gemstone you buy is actually what it is sold for. Easily available varieties such as rose quartz are almost always natural, unprocessed, and real.

Not with all purchases of gemstones you can assume that the gemstone you buy is actually what it is sold for. Easily available varieties such as rose quartz are almost always natural, unprocessed, and real. However, you cannot rely on this with jade, for example. There are many different other stones on the market that are sold as being so-called jade… There is also a lot of confusion about this in professional sales (I know from my own experience).

As standard, I have all jade eggs that I sell certified, and I also certify rose quartz (optional) for my customers.

On my website I divide the gemstones into 3 categories:
* without certificate (I had this checked by a specialist to see whether these types are produced naturally and undyed, and safe for intimate use. I do not have each stone checked individually, but I learn by showing him certain stones (even those that may be slightly different). He identifies whether they were created naturally and whether dyes have been added. He also provides any additional information about the material.
* certified without certificate (These are gemstones that have been certified by my suppliers (sometimes in Chinese), if you would like, you can ask me to provide you with these documents I do not put this information on my website because then of course anyone can look up my suppliers :-).
* with certificate: These gemstones are either supplied (by Polarjade) by the supplier with a certificate , or I had the certification carried out for this myself.

Always buy jade (both nephrite and jadeite) with a certificate of authenticity. I also recommend purchasing certified obsidian.

Since the end of 2020, I have been working with a gemologist who certifies my nephrite and obsidian. I also had him look at the types of stone that I wasn't 100% sure was really what I thought it was. He was able to answer a number of questions that I have had for a few years.

If you feel that you would like to receive a certain type of stone certified, you can email me, for an additional charge I can have 1 or more stones certified. You can also always call me to find out what additional information I know about a particular type of stone.
